The visa of nomad (DNV) is served in the consulate at the place of legal residence: from Kazakhstan, it is the embassy in Astana, from Belarus and Armenia, the consulate in Moscow, and Georgia is the responsibility of the embassy in Ankara.

General rule from the consulate in Moscow: a telework visa is issued to the consulate of the region of the country of residence and citizens and legal residents of the area may apply [1]. UGE adds: permission is not applied directly from the country of origin, a visa is required at the consulate, and the UGE applies 60 days before the end of the visa or being in Spain legally. [14]. Which is the same for all four countries.

  • Relations with a foreign company are not shorter than three months on the date of submission and confirmation that the company is actually operating for at least a year. [1][13].
  • Income 20% SMI: 2,849 a month, 34,188 a year before taxes; Claimant and one family member: 3,917 a month [1][14]C. Calculation: DNV income in 2026.
  • Certificate of indecent conviction from the countries where you have lived for the past two years and a five-year statement of non-conviction; translated to Spanish and legalized [1].
  • Diploma or experience of at least three years, no-subsidy and waiting periods, passport of at least one year and two blank pages [1][13].
  • NIE: The consulate in Moscow recommends that it be obtained before the visa [1].

Kazakhstan: Embassy in Astana

The Spanish Embassy in Astana is responsible for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan [7]The visa centres in Astana and Almaty receive applications for Shangen and study via online recording, while the rest of the national visas are accepted by the Embassy on record. [5]. In the list of national visas of the embassy there is a visa for telework [6]; we did not find a separate description on her page on October 2, 2026. as citizens of Kazakhstan to apply for a national visa.

The Embassy publishes a bilingual table of requirements for funds; the February 2025 version considers monthly amounts as annual amounts divided by 12 [8]For 2026, use UGE numbers: 2,849 a month [14].

Belarus: Consulate in Moscow and visa centre in Minsk

The area of the consulate in Moscow includes Armenia, Belarus, Russia (except the region of St. Petersburg Consulate), Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan [3]. Armenia: Consulate in Moscow and antenna in Yerevan

Armenia is entering the consulate area in Moscow, Spain's visa centre is located in Yerevan [2][3]. Order AUC/54/2025 of 13 January 2025 created a diplomatic antenna in Yerevan under the Embassy in Moscow, which does not call the consular functions of the Order [17]III. Armenians need a Schengen visa for a short-term visit [16]. Georgia: responsibility for it lies with the Embassy in Ankara

The Embassy in Ankara is also responsible for Azerbaijan and Georgia [9]The Istanbul Consulate on the telework visa page describes applicants living in Turkey: they need a long-term residence permit and a NIE at the time of filing [10]The consulate in Istanbul has been receiving student visas for Georgian citizens and foreigners with Georgian residence permits since 15 August 2019, the only official mention we have found [19]For DNV, please specify the order at the Ankara Embassy in writing.

The Georgian visa-free regime for short trips by the European Commission suspended for 12 months on 6 March 2026, with only diplomatic, official and official passports listed in the announcement [11]It is limited to 90 days and does not give birth to life and work, and DNV requires a national visa.

Step order from CIS countries

  1. Identify the consulate at the place of legal residence: Astana, Moscow or the Embassy in Ankara for Georgia [1][5][9].
  2. Ask the consulate for the registration of the telework visa: some of the national visas are taken by the visa centre [4][5].
  3. Collect a company relationship, income, diploma or experience, insurance, social insurance [1][13].
  4. Indictability certificates: apostille in the country of extradition, juror translation into Spanish [1][13].
  5. NIE: Recommended to receive advance [1].
  6. Visa application, then 60 days before the visa's end, application to UGE [14].

Social insurance and payments

The list of bilateral agreements Seguriidad Social for Europe includes Andorra, Russia, Ukraine and Moldova, China, Japan, the Philippines and Korea for Asia, and Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan. Typical errors by CIS applicants

  • Not served to the consulate in their own district: the consulate receives citizens and legal residents of the area [1].
  • The visa centre is considered to accept all national visas: the Astana centre receives the chengen and study, the rest of the embassy [5].
  • Accept the diplomatic antenna in Yerevan for consulate: consular functions are not mentioned in the Order establishing it. [17].
  • Relying on the 2025 Embassy table instead of UGE numbers [8][14].
  • Waiting for "A1" certificate from the country without social security agreement [15].
  • They come in for short-term visa-free and hope for a DNV without a visa. [11][14].
