Road map · Phase 1 of 12

Preparing the house and choosing the foundation

You will determine the basis, place and consulate, check the dates of filing and draw up a reference calendar before the first payment.

The phase was prepared by the NEXO team from the source; the lawyer ’s check-in has not yet been completed, and the points are marked with a date of reconciliation.

Short

  • The basis is chosen by the Spanish study: DNV, no lucrativa, studies, work, family, arraigo.

  • Standards are checked by the consolidated text of BOE: RD 1155/2024, RD 316/2026, decision TS of 08.07.2026
  • The consulates of Moscow and St. Petersburg are recording themselves; since 1.06.2026, part of the visas of the Moscow district has been receiving BLS.

Item 1

Where should you be on the day of application for a residence in Spain: abroad or in Spain?

The application is based on the rule: the residence visa is submitted in person at the consulate of the district where the applicant lives (art. 26 RD 1155/2024) [1]. No lucrativa goes only through the consulate (Article 63) [1]I can request permission for Ley 14/2013, including DNV, from Spain when it is legally present (art. 74 quinquies) [2]; UGE in responses confirms that a visa is issued from the country of origin, not a permit [3].
